    MICHELLE ALLEN

    Google – Head of Travel 

    Michelle is Head of Travel for Google Australia. She joined Google in 2011 and has nearly 20 years experience in the travel industry in France, Spain and Australia having previously worked for Amadeus. Michelle is passionate about understanding consumer behaviour and how travel companies can be more efficient with their branding and distribution by winning the traveller through technology, insights and customer experience.

    In early 2021 Michelle and team created a bespoke 3 part digital education series for the Travel Industry (Grow With Google) which was Google’s first ever free digital upskilling series for the Travel industry in Australia. Michelle is a mum to 2 energetic boys and just had her 3rd baby (a little girl) in July 2021.

    LOUISE LAING

     Intrepid Group – GM Marketing APAC & EMEA 

    Louise is the General Manager Marketing of APAC and EMEA at Intrepid Travel, where she leads the team on brand, design, PR and digital marketing. Intrepid is a proudly Melbourne company, and the world’s largest adventure travel company, As the world’s largest travel B Corp, Intrepid is committed to be a genuine force for good in the world.

    Louise has a diverse, multi award-winning background across both agency and client-side. This includes building the Jetstar brand in its start-up days, hosting the World’s greatest Dinner party in Tassie for Tourism Australia and working alongside Visit Victoria to market the Great Ocean Road into China.

    Louise recently completed her MBA, is a living in the glory days of three Tigers’ premierships and passionately supports the live music scene by singing in an Indie Choir.

    EMMA CAMPBELL

     Tourism FijiChief Marketing Officer 

    Emma is Tourism Fiji’s Chief Marketing Officer based at the Head Office in Nadi. Originally from Scotland, Emma has been in Fiji for two and a half years having relocated there from Melbourne where she had lived and worked for 12 years.  Emma has almost 20 years marketing experience across global markets and has worked across FMCG and tourism industries.

    Emma loves marketing and creating attention grabbing content, however, working with teams and developing talent is where her true passion lies.

    Working in Fiji, in particular during the global pandemic, has been a hugely rewarding experience and with Fiji’s borders now reopening, Emma is excited about seeing the results of the last few years of preparation coming to fruition with outstanding visitor numbers already being achieved for December and January.

    Steve Jones

     MotificManaging Director 

    Steve (Jonesy) is the Managing Director of Motific, Australia’s first YouTube agency. Jonesy has over 18 years of digital media experience, both publisher and agency-side leading accounts such as KIA, Discovery Parks, Uniting, UNSW and Rugby AU to name a few. He’s also led high-performance sales teams across Sydney, Melbourne, London, Chicago and Auckland. He is passionate about the growth of his clients as marketers. Always looking to educate, inspire and mentor as a partner and friend.

     When he’s not working, he’s surfing or playing golf. Most importantly, he loves spending time with his wife and three daughters.
